It’s also fun enough that the older kids – um, the adults – will love it too. It’s a tame enough ride that the little ones – if they are 38 inches or taller – can climb aboard to ride.

On the line queue you’ll see oversized boxes of crayons and coloring books, sketches of Andy’s rollercoaster idea, tinker toys, pencils, Elmer’s glue and of course, the Army men. On the Slinky Dog Dash ride, you’ll also be greeted with a sign for “Slinky Dog Dash” that looks like it was written by Andy, of course. Reilly, and Harrison Ford as Han Solo in an audio book entitled DeathTroopers. The Wheezy you hear on the Slinky Dog Dash ride is voiced by actor Sean Kenin, who is a professional voice actor and has voice-matched such notable celebrities as Billy Crystal, Tom Cruise, half the cast of The Princess Bride in a game on the 20th anniversary DVD, John C. In the movie franchise, the penguin was played by the talented Joe Ranft and the legendary Robert Goulet sang Wheezy’s version of “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.” Once you get to the end of the ride, you’ll be serenated by Wheezy the Penguin with his rendition of the popular “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.” If the asthmatic Wheezy’s voice sounds a little different from the Toy Story movies, that’s because it is. The thrilling ride takes you up, down and all around the many twists and turns (but no flips!). This two-minute ride sits two people to a row and those 7 and under must ride with someone older. The story goes that Andy has built a roller coaster using his “Dash & Dodge Mega Coaster Kit,” and it’s all about Slinky – the original pull toy! Once you walk into this highly anticipated new theme park, you’ll see that it’s created to look like Andy’s backyard. On the other hand, the toys – Woody, Buzz, Jess and the clan – are built as human-sized. The story behind this family-friendly coaster is simple, but first you need to remember that when you enter the 11-acre Toy Story Land, it will feel like you are shrunk down to a size of a toy. A dog is man’s best friend so it’s only fitting that Woody’s lovable Dachshund, Slinky Dog, gets his own ride at Toy Story Land! Toy Story Land just opened on June 30 th in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and pays homage to Andy’s cute slinky toy with his own rollercoaster – appropriately named the Slinky Dog Dash.
